I have requested a Parcel Register twice in the same request. This Parcel Register is related to the Search Name Report I just ran. When I remove one of them, I get a message saying that it will remove all of the other items related to the Search Name Report. What does that mean?
It means that it will remove all the other items that were also listed on the Search Name Report. However, you can avoid having to re-enter the items back by removing the duplicate item that is not directly linked to the discount.
For example:
You have a total of 5 items in your Shopping Cart and they are as follows:
- LRO # 33, PIN #08180-0165 (unrelated to Search Name Report)
- LRO #33, PIN#09657-0038
- Search Name Report (SNR)Credit
- LRO #33, PIN#08130-0539
- LRO #33, PIN#08343-0093
- LRO #33, PIN#09657-0038
The first item (LRO # 33, PIN #08180-0165) is not related to the Search Name report as the discount was not applied to it. However, the second item (LRO #33, PIN#09657-0038) is related and so is the last three items.
As you can see, the second and last items (LRO #33, PIN#09657-0038) on the list are exactly the same.
Therefore, if you remove the second item on the list which is directly linked to the discount, you will get a message that will warn you that the system will remove all items linked to the Search Name report.
In this example, the only item that will remain in the shopping cart is the first item (LRO # 33, PIN #08180-0165) and all the others will be removed.
Hence, it is recommended that when you have a duplicate item, you need to remove the one that is not directly linked to the Search Name Report (i.e. the last PIN- also a duplicate of the second PIN).
